So hopefully, with this SEO client that I’ve worked with will show you on what you can expect when working with a SEO s like me and who's a SEO Philippines.
Why just 5 Months?
Well, this client also have a video tutorial site which I handled too but sadly it was the time when sites like Udemy are growing and getting to be known. I’m not sure if he did go for it, but his plan is just use those sites since they’ll be taking care of the majority of the marketing and can help you get more students to enroll, rather than him spending his own money for his own websites to be market and get enrollees.I totally understand his decision, and he was a nice client, and I was sad to let him go to be honest.
What Happen to SEO in 2013?
This client was way back in 2013, and 2013 was a hard year for SEOs. Especially for someone like me who’s not that confident in the field yet that time. With few years of experience, and few contacts to talk about changes in algorithm, you really have to find it on your own.So, to warn you, on the last month for this client, there was a “SECRET” update that Google released. I’m not sure if they did admit to it (I can’t remember anymore) but there’s been a lot of talk that they did release something that caused a number of sites dropping their ranking. Even known brands dropped ranking, and even known sites lost a lot of traffic. It was not just one or two clients who drop their ranking for me, but majority of my clients drop some ranking and I was blown away. How will I explain this to my clients?
Gladly, I believe in a few weeks they roll back the changes, but then release a new update (officially) by November 2013. We were not affected.
So yes, it was a mess that year.

5 Months SEO Results
I’m showing you this post to simply show that there can be SEO results within a few months but it’s not yet on its own full potential since there are more keywords to gain ranking for. Since depending on the package you avail, there’s a limit of number of keywords to rank for, but once those keywords have stable ranking your SEO specialist can target and rank for another new or set of keywords while monitoring the previous keywords.Just like my long term travel agency SEO client, each year they’re gaining more traffic, more than what I’ve expected since they’re ranking not only on the keywords for their tour packages, but on a number of travel related keywords.

The SEO client actually is a sales page, so the home page has the entire information that a visitor’s needs. That’s why it has a high bounce rate – just showing you this part in case your website is also a sales page. I’ll create a video about bounce rate soon to explain it further to show why it’s normal for this kind of website.

As you can see, on the first month you can see a difference in traffic, the client gained 0.65% traffic increase comparing to the previous month. Comparing to my other SEO clients, they did all feel at least a bit of increase of traffic on the first month but on how much change you’ll get, it will depend on your market, your brand, on Google, and even on you.Even though I’ve worked with this website for 5 months, the client gets 38.96% more visitors to their website.
TRAFFIC SOURCE
Before I worked on the client’s website, they’re not getting much traffic from search engines. It gets traffic majority from its sister site and of course from other sites – but not through SEO.

And as you notice, though they’re getting traffic from Google before, they have a 100% bounce rate, which means the visitors that goes to their website goes back to Google immediately – this means the visitor did not find what they’re looking for.
But in 5 months from 1 visit a month from Google, the client gets at least 1,000 visits in a month. If given more time, there could be more traffic for the website, more from searches, and more possible conversions from traffic.

I’ll be revealing only 3 keywords for this client. But for the sake of some clients asking for keywords, and details about the keyword ranking for the client’s I’ve worked with. This would be it.But please take that the ranking on this table MAY or MAY NOT be longer the current ranking. Since the ranking in this report are years ago. And if they did not continue or hire any other SEO to work on their website, they’ve might lost the ranking for these keywords now.

Now, please don’t expect this kind of result on the first month. This client availed my $500 / month SEO service Philippines package, the one I call DELICIOUS SEO package. Plus, the client was very cooperative, and willing to make the necessary changes on the website to help it rank. It will also depend on the competition, your target market, and of course on Google.
Final Thoughts…
If you want to try the result of having your website SEO done, go for at least 6 months for it. Since SEOs does not have any control with what Google make on their algorithm. But if it doesn’t show a bit of improvement at least in terms of traffic in 2-3 months, best to find other SEO specialist for your business website.I was actually happy with this client. He pays on time, he ask questions, and do cooperate. I actually have no complains. It was just sad to let this project go since I myself is a programmer, and he is a programmer, and learning any programming language is great! It’s just sad that he was affected with the rise of these platforms where students gets more easier access to classes, and have a platform that they can 100% trust rather than investigating first if a site is legit.
