Both campaigns started around February of 2014 and ended 2 months later. And after 2 months of monitoring traffic, conversions and of course the cost of the campaigns we were able to conclude that SEO service is a lot more worthy to invest to. Even including the client agreed that SEO is a lot better, not only in terms of traffic, but also in conversion.
The client hired someone else for the PPC and SMM campaign, wherein he spent around P10,000 (around $230) for a month of campaign. There might have more charges, since the client have requested some changes and customization.

Our stats is a bit similar to the provided data above, wherein in about 80% of the client's website traffic comes from search engines, and the remaining are either coming from social media sites and PPC campaigns.
Comparing the SEO and PPC, on which is more advantage. You can totally testify it yourself, that you yourself clicks the results on the search engine results page (SERP) than the ads displayed. Some people (like me) are even allergic to ads and there are times, if I accidentally click on the ad, opened a new tab for the website, I immediately close that site opened. But then again, PPC is best if you want a lot of people to see your ads, and notice you.
So if you want to have a long term effect of investment, like one of my previous clients have (she was still ranking #1 even I stopped working with her and did not use SEO for almosta year), it's best to invest and hire a SEO specialist and get the best quality of SEO service to start ranking your website.
